Wes Burdine is a writer, musician, and publisher from Minneapolis. His articles have appeared in a broad range of publications from Lancaster Intelligencer, Minnesota Law & Politics, Minneapolis City Pages, and Howler.
In 2015, Burdine published The Complete Darkness: An Annual Review of Minnesota United FC, a compilation of soccer journalism. He also co-founded Byline Press, an independent publisher of soccer journalism.
His academic research investigates theories of temporality and turn of the 20th century literature. More specifically, he look at the intersection between scientific studies into unexplained phenomena (psychical research) and turn of the twentieth century literature. Burdine currently plays music in Gospel Machine, a garage gospel band in Minneapolis. Their album, Your Holy Ghost, is due out in 2015. Previously, he played in The Small Cities and Wes Burdine and the Librarians.
